Hollertronix - Bmore Gutter Music
When hipsters start imitating music from the streets it usually signals the death of a truly creative genre. The situation with Bmore club is a little different because I have never considered the music to be wholly gutter, even though it originated in the streets of Baltimore. Hipsters were early adopters of the simple breakbeat sound and the deejay culture has been behind the movement the whole way through. I recently had a chance to listen to this compilation of Baltimore club tracks done by Lowbudget, Aaron LaCrate, and Spankrock and released under Diplo's Hollertronix remix crew. The tracks are solid and its definitely worth a listen.
